The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm at the Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge. Frisco residents will hear from the USFS regarding the Backyard Plan, which encompasses 1,576.3 acres of fuels reduction activities along with trail decommission, improvement, and construction activities near the Town of Frisco. This open house kicks off the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) comment period, which will be open for 60-days for the public to provide comments online or via the mail.

The USFS will begin their presentation at 6:00pm and will include story boards about the project. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
