Update: Water Main Repaired on Miners Creek Road

The water main break, reported by the Frisco Water Division at approximately 4:35pm, has been repaired. The water system in the closure area (Miners Creek Road, Little Chief Way, Larson Lane, and Alpine Drive) was flushed by the Frisco Water Division.

Residents Asked to Flush Water Lines in their Homes

Post repair- the Water Division recommends that residents in the affected water shut off area flush their home’s water system by running faucets, and in particular faucets servicing their bathtubs, for five minutes before using the water in their residences.

On Wednesday, August 21 at approximately 4:35pm, the Frisco Water Division reported a water main break on Miners Creek Road in Frisco. A private contractor, working on a residence on Miners Creek Road, hit a water main, resulting in a water shut down to residences on Miners Creek Road, Little Chief Way, Larson Lane, and Alpine Drive. The Frisco Water Division is hoping that the repair can be completed in four hours, but it may take until tomorrow morning depending on break and needed repair.

Water shut offs may also need to expand to other areas around Miners Creek Road, depending on the conditions needed for repair. Frisco Water staff be onsite until the repair is complete.
