The Town of Frisco is offering local nonprofit organizations opportunities to raise funds by volunteering for the Town’s Concerts in the Park series, as well as during several Frisco recreation events. The application period for both types of events is open from Thursday, February 23 through Friday, March 17, 2023, and applications are available on FriscoVolunteer.com.
The Town of Frisco will be offering event partnership opportunities for the new Summer Kickoff Concert and the returning Concert in the Park series in 2023. These concerts will span over 13 consecutive weeks; beginning Friday, June 9 and continuing for the following 12 Thursday afternoons from June 15 to August 31. For all 13 opportunities, selected non-profits will be primarily facilitating alcohol sales, checking IDs, and accepting payment.
For Frisco’s recreation department events, nonprofits can participate by assisting with registration and packet pickup or by working at course aid stations. The Town of Frisco will compensate participating nonprofits $100 per station, per hour worked, with a required minimum of two volunteers for each station or position. The following recreation events are open for nonprofit partnerships:
- Frisco Triathlon – Friday, July 14, 2023
- Run the Rockies Trail Half Marathon and 10k – Saturday, August 12, 2023
- Run the Rockies Road Half Marathon and 10k – Saturday, September 16, 2023
